Mit der neuen Version von Symantec Data Center Security 6.10.2 erweitert der Hersteller Broadcom seine Lösung für das Härten von Systemen um folgende Funktionen:
Multiple Syslog Server Configuration support with advanced filtering
- Configure multiple Syslog servers directly from the Integration > Syslog Server page in the console. Customers can forward events to multiple Syslog destinations in real time, ensuring broader visibility and improved integration with existing monitoring and SIEM tools.
- Advanced filtering capabilities allow events to be routed based on severity levels and custom tags to SIEM so only the most relevant data reaches each destination.
Multiple Console Session SupportUsers can work on multiple console objects simultaneously, eliminating the need to switch contexts or wait for tasks to complete. A single console user can now launch multiple console instances across one or more computers. With multi-instance access, teams can manage complex environments more efficiently, and increase productivity.
Quick and Custom Time Range Options for the Investigate PageUsing enhanced time range filtering options, DCS administrators can now control event visibility. Quick and Custom filters make it simple to narrow down events to the most relevant time periods—whether for rapid investigation or detailed analysis.
Enhancements in DCS 6.10.2:
- The Version column in the Assets > Agents grid has been renamed to Agent Version for improved clarity.
- More precise agent filtering is available with the addition of Comprehensive Operating System filter options to the Assets > Agents page,
- Users can now instantly view detailed information and copy it to the clipboard for easy analysis by double-clicking an activity row in Policy Activity History.
- Search faster with User Search queries created using Custom Filters are now case-insensitive. Two new string operators (Starts With and Ends With) have been added to Custom Filters, enabling more precise and flexible filtering.
- A new File Integrity Monitoring (FIM) column in the Assets view gives admins instant visibility into endpoint technology status.
